More SAORI Weaving for the Home

Thanks for the responses to my SAORI upholstery fabric – now to take apart a chair seat and see if I can reassemble and recover it!

I recently received some photos from Nancy, who has also been doing some SAORI weaving for her home. She has generously allowed me to post them here – I think that you’ll be inspired!

First, here are some curtains that she made…

The detail and movement in these curtains is brilliant!

And a pillow…

The patchwork style is great! She also made a dresser runner with another piece of the same fabric, warm and inviting….

This is a SAORI blanket, woven by Tanya. I love how she sewed many lengths of Saori woven cloth together – it looks so cozy and warm!

So, from clothing, to accessories, wallhangings & art, to weaving for social change, to collaborative weaving and also to the home – endless possibilities with Saori weaving!

Happy Weaving,
Terri
