I came across this recently and have decided to participate:
It will be another way to express peace and share it with others. I’m not sure what I’ll do yet, but I’m thinking that I will weave something and felt it - perhaps embellish it as well. More information here.
If you are interested in participating, the deadline for registration is August 1, 2010 and pieces will be sent in September to coincide with International Peace Day, September 21.
I will post photos in September of the piece that I complete and the one that I receive.
