On Saturday, June 19, I will be giving a Saori workshop at Knotty by Nature in Victoria, BC. This workshop is for anyone - whether you have woven before or not. Registration is through Knotty by Nature.
Saori will be introduced to those who haven’t woven in the Saori style before and it will also be an opportunity to learn how to make a woven mobius scarf - one without beginning or end.
Lots of great Fibre-y things will be happening in Victoria this same weekend as it is also the Victoria Fibre Festival. There’s a dinner and fashion show on the Friday night (June 18). Also, check out the market in Saxe Point Park in Esquimalt on Sunday (June 20) as there will be many vendors there - drop in at the Saori booth and try out the looms there, bring your knitting, do some shopping, relax and enjoy the park - in the sunshine I hope!!
