So, after weaving the last scarf I had an idea. What if I used two balls of the same Noro yarn, started them in different places in the colour sequence and used a clasped weft?
I tried it and I like the result. I call this one “Half ‘n Half”…

detail…

This is on the same warp as the previous scarf. The Noro for this one is “Silk Garden” (colour 282) which is Silk, Kid Mohair and Lamb’s wool!

Morning Terri
Intriguing! I stared at it for awhile, looking for words for what I was feeling, and decided that it looks to me as if tentative connections began to expand….. in a metaphorical sense. The colours needed no wondering as to why I love them!

… “What if I used two… in different places… and… a clasped weft?”
Fascinating effect Terri - I love the result!

What a coincidence that I just happened to see the scarf here on the day that
you sold it! Discriminating buyer!
