I have written about the ‘waterfall’ weaving that I did for a Saori exhibit in New York city.
Waterfall Weaving
and
Waterfall Update
I just received some photos from the exhibit from Loop of the Loom and she gave me permission to post them here on my blog for you to see:

There is an amazing variety of colours and designs. But of course that is all part of the Saori way!
Please check out the Loop of the Loom website for more great photos of Saori weaving and more details on the exhibit.
Happy Weaving,
Terri

Oh Terri! What a wealth. Yours is spectacular. Congratulations!!!!
Thanks so much Karen – isn’t it amazing to see them all together like that! It must be wonderful energy….
Happy Weaving,
Terri
I have been waiting impatiently for these! A feast for the eyes and the heart. Thank you so much for sharing and for the link to loop of the loom. If I were in the very room with them, no doubt I would fall into a trance!
My first weaving after 30 years is off the loom and sitting on my dining table. I am so thrilled with it. Very unstructured, I am so pleased I was able to go “there” – you know to that unstructured place outside the box!
wow, look at all that beautiful!! Yours looks great amongst them all. It’s like a bunch of flowers. sigh.
It’s beautiful! I love it…. it’s like a magical tent…..
Hard to believe that there could be so many different colors and patterns, yours was easy to pick out, loved it
Misao Jo (the founder of Saori) says “All flowers are beautiful, even though each individual flower is different in form and color. Because of this difference ‘all are good’…..”
Oh – I like that – a magical tent…now just imagine a dance performance….
So many different colours, just like so many individuals who are weaving the Saori way – expressing themselves through their weaving and then coming together in the exhibit…
Thanks!
Happy Weaving,
Terri
The “Waterfall” display is stunning! With all the glorious colors and patterns, yours is distinctive in all its rich shades of blue. Congratulations on being among the Saori weaving participants in the New York exhibit. ox mom
