Class Hours at the Studio on Salt Spring Island:
Flexible - please call to inquire or schedule ~ All ages, all abilities welcome

Try It : 2 hour Try-It class
Try your hand at Saori weaving. The loom is set up for you and all the materials are available at the studio. Take your finished weaving home with you.

$40 plus materials
$30 plus materials (14 and under)

Saori Weaving Class : 6 classes (2 hrs each)
Learn to weave Saori style - you can expect to finish one or two projects. This can be over a series of weeks or a more intensive style if you are visiting Salt Spring Island.

$225 plus materials

SAORI Weaving Intensive : 12 hours
Continue exploring Saori weaving. You can learn more about Saori, about setting up your own loom and warp, Saori clothing construction and more - as always there are endless possibilities.

$250 plus materials

SAORI Weaving - One-on-one instruction : 2 hours or more
Would you like to have one-on-one time to learn to weave, to warp, to design clothes? Time can be set-up at the studio to meet your individual needs. Of course I hope you also have opportunties to "learn from each other" in group settings.

$50 per 2-hour session plus materials

Travelling Saori Weaving Workshops, Hands-On Demos and Community Events: 2 - 6 hours/day
I can bring my looms to you. Please contact me for rates and details.

Retreats

SAORI Weaving Retreats are held at our studio in the woods on Salt Spring Island, BC,
are on request and very flexible - call to discuss possible dates and times,
check the cottage website for available dates for booking the cottage
and please check for teaching availability.

A typical retreat would be 3-6 hours per day of workshop time plus
plenty of time to weave at the studio after hours.

Cost is $100/day* plus materials for group retreats ~ $175/day* for one-on-one retreats
*based on 5 hours/day of workshop time - minimum 2 days

Saori Weaving retreats can be combined with a B&B stay
at Honeysuckle Cottage right on the property.
